Shape and diameter matter more than most people realise. Formula sim racing steering wheels (typically 280–300mm) suit reactive, fast-correction driving - open-wheel categories, Formula 1 up to Formula 4 and GT sprint races. Larger GT and round wheels (300–350mm) reward smoother inputs and are more comfortable over long endurance stints. If you rally or drift, the Simagic NEO X 350W (350mm) is the only dedicated option in the range.

Entry level

The Simagic GT Neo (carbon composite, lightweight, ~€305) is the sharpest value entry point in the entire collection. Step up through the Neo X-310G and GT1-SR Alcantara (both around €358–€400 for GT styles) or go Formula with the Simagic FX 4-paddle (~€432). The Simagic FX Pro adds a 4.3" screen and carbon fiber construction (~€665). With 15 products, Simagic covers the most ground in this category.

Mid-range

Moza brings GT and Formula options including the GS V2P (300mm, forged carbon frame, magnetic clutch paddles, display) and the distinctive Vision GS (310mm, 2.85" circular touchscreen, 72 inputs - possibly the most eye-catching sim racing steering wheel in the range). Asetek offers the La Prima and Forte Formula wheels, designed to pair natively with Asetek bases. Conspit's 300 GT (300mm, Le Mans-grade carbon, 110 inputs, 2.99" display, ~€470) and MAX 01 (4" SimHub touchscreen, dual clutch, Conspit Link 2.0) pair naturally with their ARES wheelbases but work with any standard direct drive via 70mm PCD.

Cube Controls: A strong mid-to-premium choice for USB/Bluetooth flexibility. The GT PRO V2 (298mm D-shape, carbon front plate) are popular all-rounders.

High-end

The Ascher Racing McLaren Artura Pro (from €1,172) and Artura Ultimate (€1,540, adds 4" display + shift lights) are built using actual components from the McLaren Artura GT4 race car. The Simucube Savu Sport (€917) and Savu Pro (€1,312) are Simucube's own GT-style steering wheels, designed to pair natively with their wheelbase ecosystem. BavarianSimTec offers five steering wheels made in Regensburg, Bavaria: from the Alpha (295mm, from €1,079) through the Delta PULSE, Delta PRO (both with 4.3" displays and 6 carbon paddles), to the Delta Pro SC (€1,630 - the first Simucube Link wheel with a display, transmitting wireless power and data through the quick release).

SOELPEC - possibly the most input-dense sim racing wheels in the entire category - comes in two standard finishes (Lava and Bazalt). The compact Terra LX (297mm, CNC 6061-T6 aluminum, up to 136 programmable inputs, HybridSwitch rotary encoders with push and multi-mode functionality, DuoACT magnetic paddle shifters, 128 individual RGB LEDs, ~€1,090) is SOELPEC's entry into their range — its smaller diameter and lighter feel make it equally at home in GT, formula, rally, and touring car simulations. The Spectra LT (302mm formula, €1,468) and Spectra XR (302mm with a 5" touchscreen, €1,880) sit at the pinnacle of the lineup. The whole SOELPEC range is modular — knobs, buttons, and stickers can be swapped to fit your layout preferences.

A note on compatibility: most sim racing wheels connect via USB (universal) or Bluetooth — these work with any direct drive base. Ascher Racing offers a Simucube Wireless version (Simucube 2 and 3). The BavarianSimTec Delta Pro SC uses Simucube Link (Simucube 3 only, no cables needed). Conspit and Moza wheels are designed primarily for their own ecosystems but work with third-party bases via the standard 70mm bolt pattern. Check the product page, or ask us before buying.
