170 kg, an offset arm, one power supply

The Simucube ActivePedal Ultimate is the active pedal Simucube makes for motorsport professionals and drivers who want maximum adjustability. The ActivePedal Pro has the same Simucube Tuner and effects - pick it if one active pedal with up to 110 kg is enough. Pick the Ultimate for 170 kg, the offset arm, inverted mounting or two to three active pedals on one power supply.

Two modes: 170 kg or 79 mm of travel

The Simucube ActivePedal Ultimate has two mechanical settings: up to 170 kg with 62 mm of travel, the default, or up to 120 kg with 79 mm. You switch by re-assembling the force adjustment piece and selecting the same position in Simucube Tuner. Simucube says the default suits most drivers; if you want the long travel, 120 kg is still more than the 110 kg of the ActivePedal Pro.

25 mm of offset and three rod lengths

Unlike the Pro, the ActivePedal Ultimate adds 25 mm of pedal offset and three rod lengths to the 20 mm of height and 18° of angle both pedals share - Simucube lists the adjustable arm for better ergonomics in Formula and Le Mans cars. Offset is set in Tuner first and the sliding rod parts extend it mechanically; after a rod change Simucube recommends recalibrating the force sensor. The pedal can also be mounted inverted.

Tuner matches the pedal's mechanics

The ActivePedal Ultimate has a hardware configuration panel in Simucube Tuner that must match the pedal: force adjustment piece High or Low and rod length Short, Middle or Long. Force curve, maximum force, travel, preload, damping and friction are then set per profile, and Tuner switches the profile with the car and the sim.

Telemetry effects your foot can read

The ActivePedal Ultimate reads the sim's telemetry and plays ABS, traction control, RPM vibration, G-force movement and brake lockup through the pedal. Lockup is the one to set carefully: its activation sensitivity decides whether micro-lockups in trail braking trigger it. All five work in Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa EVO, ACC, Le Mans Ultimate, Automobilista 2, rFactor 2 and RaceRoom; iRacing has no traction control and no lockup effect - see Simucube's per-game list.

Brake threshold and clutch bite point vibrations need no telemetry and work in every game.

One power supply runs up to three pedals

Your first ActivePedal Ultimate is the Primary Set, with the Simucube Link Hub and the power supply. Each further Ultimate is an Add-on: it takes power from the previous pedal through a daisy chain cable and brings its own Ethernet switch; up to three pedals run from one power supply. Choose 2x ActivePedal Ultimate for an active brake and throttle, or the Add-on if you already own a Primary Set.

Throttle and clutch: active or Co-Pedal

For throttle and clutch the Simucube ActivePedal Ultimate gives you four routes:

Active throttle: choose 2x ActivePedal Ultimate - the second pedal runs from the same power supply and is set as throttle in Tuner.
ActivePedal Pro as throttle: choose Brake pedal only and add the Simucube ActivePedal Pro with the Teltonika Ethernet Switch - the Pro has its own power supply.
Passive throttle or clutch: choose a Co-Pedal variant - it plugs into the pedal's passive port, comes as a throttle and converts to a clutch with the included face, spring and Arc profile.
Your own Heusinkveld Sprint, Ultimate or Ultimate+: choose Brake pedal only and add the Simucube ActivePedal Connector.

Technical details and compatibility

Compatibility

PC with a free USB port. In any racing game the ActivePedal Ultimate works as a USB pedal; the effects need a game supported by Simucube Tuner.
The pedal ships without firmware; Simucube Tuner installs it at first start.

Connection

The Simucube Link Hub in the Primary Set is the only one your rig needs - it also runs a Simucube 3 wheelbase. Your first ActivePedal is always a Primary Set, even if you already own a Link Hub - the Add-on has no power supply of its own.
With one Ultimate next to a Simucube 3 wheelbase or an ActivePedal Pro, add the Teltonika Ethernet Switch.
Two or three Ultimates: the Add-on includes an Ethernet switch. Planning more Link devices on top? Ask us before you order.

Passive pedals

The Simucube Co-Pedal connects directly to the pedal.
Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Sprint, Ultimate and Ultimate+ connect with the Simucube ActivePedal Connector.
Third-party USB pedals work alongside it, but they are not adjusted in Simucube Tuner.

Mounting

6 x M5 slots, at least four screws at about 2 Nm, ideally all six - with four, use the front and back holes for a stiffer installation.
A rigid pedal deck: Simucube warns that thin, flexible rigs are the worst and can cause oscillation.
