Steering wheel accessories: quick releases, adapters and upgrades
Most wheel accessories answer one question: how do I get this wheel onto that wheelbase? Start with the bolt pattern - six holes on a 70 mm or 50.8 mm circle are the standard across direct drive bases, hubs and quick releases.
Quick releases by wheelbase
Simucube 3 runs wheels through the Link Quick Release and the Link Hub; the 50.8 mm to 70 mm adapter brings third-party wheels onto the Link Quick Release with 30 mm of extra paddle clearance. Simucube 2 owners use the Quick Release wheel side kit for 70 mm and 50.8 mm wheels. On Simagic, the QR50/QR70 wheel side swaps Simagic wheels, and the QR-A mounts third-party 50/70 mm wheels on the Alpha EVO. Brand-independent: the zero-play Sim-Lab XERO-PLAY V2 and the Cube Controls QRX, both with USB passthrough.
Simagic wheels on other bases
MagLink runs only GT Neo and Neo X wheels on third-party wheelbases. Zeus series wheels need MagLink Pro, and the AirLink connects Zeus wheels wirelessly on Alpha EVO bases only.
Reach, paddles and rims
Wheel too far away? The BavarianSimTec Spacer adds 50, 100 or 200 mm with a 70 mm pattern on both ends, and the Simucube 3 Shaft Extension Kit adds 100 or 200 mm with full wireless function. Add-on paddle modules exist for the Simagic Neo X Hub, Asetek wheels and the Cube Controls Phoenix, and Simagic 70 mm rims in Alcantara or leather fit the GT Pro Hub and GT1 Hub.
