Reach without moving the base

When the wheel deck is as far back as it goes and the wheel still sits too far away, the Spacer solves it in one part: 50, 100 or 200 mm between base and wheel, in an anodised finish that matches the rest of the BavarianSimTec range.

32 mm waist clears the monitor

The middle of the Spacer is turned down to 32 mm, so a monitor hanging low over the wheelbase still fits and the wheel can sit a few centimetres closer to the screen than a full-diameter extension would allow.

No flex on a direct drive base

One piece of high-strength aluminium with no joints in the load path - the extra leverage of a 200 mm extension on a 25 Nm base does not introduce play or twist.

Good to know

  • Wheels that pass data through the base (Simucube 3 Link, Simagic QR-A, BavarianSimTec Delta Pro SC) keep working - the Spacer is purely mechanical and sits between base and quick release.
  • A longer Spacer adds leverage on the wheel deck mounting - on a desk clamp or a light stand, 200 mm is a lot; on an aluminium-profile cockpit it is not an issue.
