The Simucube 3 platform, in its most accessible form

The Sport has the complete Simucube 3 generation inside - the new control algorithm, the Link Quick Release and Tuner 3 - driven by a 15 Nm SPM motor in the lightest, most compact body of the range.

Simucube 3 Sport

  • 15 Nm peak torque
  • Power and data through the Link Quick Release (with compatible wheels)
  • Mounts from the front or from below
  • 3-year warranty
  • The most affordable Simucube wheelbase

Flagship response in the lightest body

The Link Hub reads the Sport at the same rate as the Ultimate, so the delay between the car losing grip and your hands knowing about it is no longer on the entry model. At 8.7 kg and 278 mm in length it is also the lightest and most compact Simucube 3 wheelbase - the easiest one to fit on a smaller rig.

Entry price, industrial-grade build

The cheapest way into Simucube is not a cheaper Simucube. The Sport is made from the same industrial-grade materials and components as the Pro and Ultimate, is designed in Finland and built in the EU like the rest of the range, and carries the same 3-year warranty as the Pro.

Supported by Simucube engineers

Simucube’s own engineering team keeps supporting the hardware and the software.

Consistent feel

The control algorithm is tuned for a consistent force feedback feel, lap after lap.

Runs cool

Stays cool even after hours of continuous use.

Quiet operation

Runs whisper-quiet, with a control algorithm designed for silent operation.

Zero play, seconds to swap

Take the GT wheel off after practice, click the formula wheel on for the race. The P3G polygon profile of the Link Quick Release centres the wheel by itself and closes with no play, and it is the same part that carries 35 Nm on the Ultimate - at the Sport's 15 Nm it never becomes the weak link.

LightBridge - power and data with no wearing parts

Wired quick releases use slip rings or a coiled cable, and both wear out. LightBridge replaces them with a contactless link for power and data: nothing rubs, so nothing wears. The Sport has exactly the same LightBridge as the Ultimate.

Frame

Everything the car feels, you feel

ABS working under braking, revs against the limiter, a rough patch of asphalt: on the Sport each of these arrives as its own effect, driven by the sim's telemetry. The effects are not scaled down for the entry model - they are the same as on the Pro, and you set the strength of each one in Simucube Tuner.

Adjust on the fly with the Control Box

The Control Box is in the Sport's box as standard, not an add-on. Force feedback strength, effects and the settings of any other Simucube device on the Link Hub can be changed mid-session, from the seat.

One Link Hub for the whole rig

The Link Hub sits between your Simucube hardware and the PC and takes one USB port for all of it. It guards the rig against USB dropping out mid-race, voltage spikes and grounding faults, and every further Simucube device - ActivePedal, Valo GT-23, a Link wheel - joins through the same hub.

It is sold separately, and one is enough for the whole rig.

Simucube Link wheels - a growing ecosystem

The Simucube Link wheel ecosystem is live and growing: Simucube's own Savu Sport and Savu Pro are the natural pairing, the BavarianSimTec Delta Pro SC is available today, and more Link-compatible wheels from GSI, Ascher Racing, Delta Sim Tech, P1sim and SimCore are on the way. Simucube 2 Wireless and USB wheels work too - see the compatibility tab for details.

Savu Sport - the natural pairing

A full-metal GT wheel that matches the Sport's philosophy: the essentials, executed without compromise. Power flows through the attached Link Quick Release, data through the Hub - no battery, no cables.

Simucube Tuner 3 - dial in the Sport in minutes

Tuner 3 is built to shorten the time between unboxing and a setup you trust: every change can be felt on the wheel before it is saved, effect strength is set as a curve (the approach ActivePedal owners already know), and the telemetry effects of the Sport have their own settings in the same app.

Compatibility

Windows PC only

Good to know

  • Not in the box: Simucube Link Hub and Link Quick Release - both are required. One Link Hub runs every Link device, so if you already own one for an ActivePedal or Valo GT-23, do not order a second one.
  • To race you need: the wheelbase, a Link Hub, a Link Quick Release, a steering wheel, pedals, a rigid cockpit and a Windows PC.
  • Wheel versions: "SC" wheels (BavarianSimTec Delta Pro SC, Ascher Racing Artura Pro SC...) are the Simucube 3 versions. A non-SC wheel works too, but over a USB cable to the PC - check the variant before ordering.
  • Running an ActivePedal Ultimate or ActivePedal Pro alongside the wheelbase? Add the Teltonika Ethernet Switch to connect everything to the Link Hub.
  • EU version. Warranty is handled by GPerformance - in a warranty case we organise and pay the shipping.

Cockpit compatibility:

Steering wheel compatibility

a) Simucube Link steering wheels - full LightBridge
(Both power and data are transmitted via the Simucube Link Quick Release)

  • BavarianSimTec Delta Pro SC - currently the only wheel with 100% LightBridge integration
  • More Link-compatible wheels from GSI, Ascher Racing and other brands are in development

b) Simucube Savu wheels

(Power is transmitted via the Simucube Link Quick Release; data is transmitted wirelessly via the Simucube Link Hub)

c) Simucube Wireless steering wheels (Simucube 2 wheels)

For example the Ascher Racing Artura Pro SC. These wheels connect wirelessly directly to the Simucube Link Hub; the Simucube Link Quick Release is used for mounting.

d) USB steering wheels

The Simucube Link Quick Release is used for mounting only. Power and data are transmitted via a USB cable connected directly to the PC. For example the Simagic GT Neo or Simagic Neo X wheels (via MagLink).
