In order to fit a custom motion actuators implemented cockpit - transverse adjustment will be needed. Use included adjustment plates to set the width of actuator feet.

To calculate if your cockpit will fit QS-CH2’s Actuator feet adjustment range, you will need to make this calculation: 2x 55.4 mm + cockpit width = must be between 660.5 mm and 750.5 mm

Adaptability dimensions (both QS-210 and QS-220’s actuator rod center axis to adapter edge measure 55.4 mm).

What does a traction loss platform do?

It slides the rig sideways the instant the car's rear steps out: up to 7.2 degrees of yaw in each direction plus 50 mm of surge, at up to 800 mm/s. You feel the rotation begin before your eyes register it on screen - which is exactly how drivers catch oversteer in real cars, and why traction loss transforms drift and rally driving in particular.

How much weight can it carry?

300 kg of gross moving load - the complete cockpit with all hardware plus the driver. The platform itself weighs 160 kg, which is part of how it moves that mass at 0.8 G of acceleration without the structure fighting itself.

Do I need other motion hardware first?

Not necessarily - the slide cue works on its own and drift-focused drivers sometimes start exactly here. The richest architecture combines it with the QS-220 actuators on top: actuators handle pitch, roll and heave, the platform underneath handles yaw and surge.

How much space does it need?

The platform footprint is roughly 1.33 x 1.07 m, and the movement itself is compact (yaw rotation plus 50 mm surge) - plan a modest clearance margin around the rig rather than a whole spare room. A flat, solid floor and a nearby mains outlet complete the requirements.

Is traction loss useful outside of drifting?

Genuinely yes - circuit racers benefit every time the rear breaks loose on cold tires, over curbs or in the wet, because the physical cue arrives faster than the visual one and slides get caught earlier. For drift and rally it borders on essential; for everyone else it is the difference between reacting and anticipating.
