140 kg on the brake, damped like a real pedal box

The Ultimate+ brake takes up to 140 kg of actual force on a 200 kg loadcell - the pedal load of an F2 or LMP car, where the Sprint stops at 65 kg. What sets it apart is not only the number but the damper: a 2-way hydraulic unit resists the pedal on the way in and on the way out, so it loads and releases like a pressurised brake system rather than snapping back on a spring.

Drivers from FIA formula categories and national touring car series use these pedals for exactly that reason - trail braking and release modulation feel like the real car.

Hydraulics on every pedal

Braking sets the rotation into the corner; the throttle carries the car from apex to exit. The Ultimate+ damps both: the brake and clutch run 2-way dampers, the throttle a 1-way damper that resists the ingoing stroke and smooths your application the way it does in many real race cars. Every damper is adjustable, and the sensors sit outside the hydraulic circuit, so the pedals keep working even with a damper removed.

Elastomers that do not fade

Instead of rubber bumpers, the Ultimate+ brake uses Heusinkveld's own injection-moulded thermoset elastomers. They give a concave force curve - soft at the top, hardening fast as the load builds - and automated testing shows no measurable change after one million cycles. Nine resistance settings take the pedal from very soft to extremely stiff; the structure is CNC laser-cut, glass-bead-blasted stainless steel throughout.

SmartControl - change it while you drive

The external controller box runs SmartControl: output curves, deadzones and maximum brake force are mapped in software, with no recalibration in the sim afterwards. SmartControl Live goes one step further and lets you switch profiles from the rig mid-session - a softer brake map for a wet stint, a stiffer one for qualifying - without leaving the seat.
