5-inch touchscreen, 23 LEDs and full RGB

The integrated 5-inch touchscreen runs a live telemetry dashboard, framed by 23 configurable LEDs for rev lights, flags and other telemetry signals. Buttons and encoders are RGB-illuminated, every zone's color is adjustable, and the lighting can be mapped to telemetry-driven animations.

Everything runs through SimHub: select the Spectra XR in the devices section and all display and lighting functions become available. SOELPEC also provides a dedicated dashboard - a custom version of Dahl Design's DDC software configured for this wheel - and the two buttons beside the display can be mapped to dashboard actions or any other function.

Magnetic shifters and Hall-sensor dual clutches

The shifter and clutch paddles share one combined module for a rigid, lightweight assembly. Longer paddle arms with a short travel distance keep shifts natural with less rotation under the fingers, and the carbon fiber shifter paddles run on ball bearings with N52 magnets - the actuation force is tunable with the extra magnets included in the box.

The dual clutches also run on ball bearings and use contactless Hall sensors for precise input, with a dedicated bite-point adjustment button for race starts.

17 buttons, 7-way switches and dual-action encoders

17 push buttons use 700 gf tactile switches - a firm, deliberate click that resists accidental presses mid-corner. Two 7-way switches and three center encoders with push function take over rotary car settings, while rear-facing tactile buttons and two programmable buttons beside the display keep critical functions in reach.

Both thumb encoders are dual-action: each acts as two independent encoders, switched via its push button, for 8 thumb inputs in total - enough to keep brake bias, traction control and engine maps adjustable without moving your hands from the grips.

6061 aluminium core, carbon plate, silicone grips

The structural core is machined from 6061 anodized aluminium with a carbon fiber center plate. The 50A silicone grips are overmolded directly onto the aluminium structure, so the open-bottom handles stay rigid and transmit feedback from the wheelbase without flex.

Total weight is 1350 g without the rear hub, keeping rotational inertia low on high-torque direct-drive bases. The included 42 mm color-coordinated hub houses the clutch spring mechanism and the internal USB connection, and adds mounting clearance for the quick release.

Compatibility

All SOELPEC steering wheels are compatible with most of the direct-drive wheelbases on the market. Dual clutches and carbon paddles are standard. 42mm rear hub compatible with 70mm 6-hole mounting pattern is included.

A Spiral USB cable with 4-pin Lumberg connector, extra magnets for adjusting the shifter force, and required hardware also come within the box.
