Simagic P1000 or P2000 - what is the difference?

The P1000 is the all-mechanical set: dual-sensor brake (Hall angle or 100 kg load cell), with hydraulics available later as the optional P-HYS upgrade. The P2000 ships with a dual-cylinder hydraulic brake and a 200 kg load cell as standard, plus load cells on every pedal. Same ecosystem, same SimPro Manager - the P2000 starts where the fully upgraded P1000 ends.

Load cell or Hall sensor - which brake mode should I use?

The P1000 includes both, so you choose per preference: the 100 kg load cell measures how hard you press - short, stiff, motorsport-style braking that builds muscle memory - while the Hall angle sensor gives longer, softer road-car travel. Many drivers start on Hall and switch to the load cell as they chase consistency.

Do the P1000 pedals work on Xbox or PlayStation?

No - the P1000 is PC only. It connects over USB directly, or through a Simagic wheelbase Bus Port so a single cable runs to the PC. In either case it appears as a standard game controller in all major sims.

Can the P1000 be upgraded later?

Yes, in two directions: the P-HYS hydraulic braking system adds the damping and rebound of a real car brake, and the P-HPR Haptic Pedal Reactors add linear-motor feedback per pedal (they need 1x P-APS power supply).

How do I adjust the brake stiffness?

Mechanically and in software: spring force, travel, angle and position adjust on the pedal itself, while linearity, required brake force and deadzones are shaped in the free SimPro Manager - so the same hardware can feel like a soft street car or a stiff race brake.
