Built on the 911 RSR

Officially licensed by Porsche and modelled on the steering wheel of the 911 RSR (991.2) GT race car. Shape, button layout and switchgear follow the original, so the wheel looks and works like the one in the real cockpit rather than a styled lookalike.

Aluminium and Carbon Fiber

The enclosure, shifters, clutch paddles and hub adapter are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminium and refined with FEA to take weight out without giving up stiffness. A 5 mm carbon fiber front plate closes the body, and the grips are over-moulded PU with an anti-static compound.

Inputs Chosen for Feel

650 gf APEM push buttons and backlit front encoders, each lit by four RGB LEDs, give a firm and repeatable click that is easy to find without looking. The shifter and clutch paddles are height-adjustable, so the reach can be set for hand size and driving style.

Display and Telemetry LEDs

A 5" display behind scratch-resistant silkscreen-printed glass sits in the centre of the wheel, backed by 80 individually controlled RGB telemetry LEDs. Dash layouts, button mapping and lighting are set up in Sim-Lab's RaceDirector software.
