Shifters

Why the shifter mechanism matters

Every shift in a sim is a simple signal - what separates shifters is the mechanics that produce it: how much force the lever demands, how positively it lands in gear, and how many hundred thousand cycles the mechanism survives. That mechanical feel is what builds the muscle memory of a real gearbox.

Magnetic sequentials

The Heusinkveld MagShift and MagShift Mini use a patented magnetic shift system with upshift and downshift force set individually - up to 11 kg on the MagShift, up to 8 kg on the Mini - and wear-free opto-electronic sensors tested to a million cycles. The Mini fits in the palm of a hand and takes a single profile slot; the full MagShift adds 3-way adjustment and an integrated three-button box.

H-pattern and sequential in one

The Simagic DS-8X switches between an 8-speed H-pattern (6+2+R) and sequential mode with a single lever - one unit covers vintage 4-speeds, modern racing gearboxes and rally stages. A pull-out gear lock guards gears 7, 8 and reverse against missed gates.

Building the full manual setup

All models are PC plug and play and mount on aluminium profile rigs - see our cockpits. Rally and drift drivers typically pair a sequential with a handbrake, and H-pattern driving only feels complete with a clutch - see our pedals.
