Pedal accessories: baseplates, haptics and tuning parts

A loadcell brake only stays consistent if the pedals sit on something that does not flex. Most pedal upgrades therefore start with a baseplate and then move on to feel - haptics, hydraulics and dampers.

Baseplates, sliders and heel rests

Heusinkveld makes dedicated plates: the Sprint Baseplate handles the Sprint's brake forces up to 65 kg with an adjustable heel plate, and the New Ultimate+ Baseplate is built for zero flex under Ultimate+ loads. The Simucube Baseplate takes the ActivePedal and third-party pedals with an adjustable heel rest height. To move the pedals instead of the seat, the 12 mm Sim-Lab pedal slider baseplate mounts on the seat slider, and the Heusinkveld Rest Pedal gives your left foot a place to rest during endurance stints.

Simagic haptics and hydraulics

The Simagic P-HPR haptic reactor is a linear motor that adds vibration feedback with frequency and amplitude set in SimPro Manager - it always needs the P-APS power supply, which feeds all reactors on a pedal set. On the P2000, each reactor needs a haptic bracket, and the P2000-HCB control box turns ABS, traction control, clutch bite point and surface texture into feedback for up to three pedals. The P-HYS module gives the standard P1000 brake a real hydraulic cylinder; the inverted P1000i needs the P-HYSi.

Simucube ActivePedal add-ons

The ActivePedal connector lets a Simucube ActivePedal replace a Heusinkveld brake, with one connector per pedal. The Throttle Damper smooths fast inputs on the Simucube Throttle and Co-Pedal, and two ActivePedals need the Teltonika Ethernet Switch. Complete sets are in pedals; for pedal feel through your feet, see our sim racing socks.
