The base is amazing, detailed feedback and plenty of headroom for any strength preference, software is really intuitive to use and to tune the base to your liking. I’d probably put it up there with simucube in terms of speed and quality with the added benefit of the BEST qr in the game and the limitless mounting options.

Coming from moza R9 to this one. The only negative thing is the way you enable and disable it, really uncomfortable. Has some noise when in standstill, but it does not bother be much since i play with sound anyway and disable the base when inactive. The pluses over the moza:
1. the way you are able to catch your car when in trouble - the base is faster
2. smoothness and feedback frequency filters
3. more strength, the base does not get even warm (i used moza with 70-80% gain, alpha u with 40%).
Overall it does not get you faster, but a little bit more stable with cooler base.

A: The AlphaU is designed to work seamlessly with Simagic’s range of steering wheels. However, you can mount a 3rdparty wheel to the wheelbase via the QR hub. Bear in mind that the wheelbase will only power Simagic wheels, and therefore a 3rdparty wheel will need its own power source (USB or LiPo battery)
