Sim racing pedals are where most lap time is won or lost. The brake pedal especially - in a real car you brake by feel, sensing g-forces and tyre grip; in a sim, that feedback comes almost entirely from how hard you push against the pedal. That's why a serious pedal set is often the upgrade that drops more time than a new sim racing steering wheel or wheelbase.

Sensor type is the single biggest factor in pedal feel. Cheap pedals use position-based sensors - you brake based on how far the pedal moves. Quality pedals use load cells, which measure how hard you press, just like a real car's brake system. Every pedal set in this collection uses load cell brakes (or better).

Pedals here run from around €170 to over €4,000, covering every level:

Entry - Moza, Simagic (from ~€170): The Moza SR-P (€170) and Simagic P500 (~€180, 100kg load cell brake with dual sensor) are solid load cell starting points. The Simagic P700 is sold per individual pedal piece (from €72.90), with a 150kg load cell brake, dual-sensor braking (load cell + Hall angle), 35 brake settings, and adjustable pedal height, angle, and spacing.

Mid-range - Sim-Lab, Moza CRP2, Simagic P1000 (€412–€490): The Sim-Lab XP1 (200kg load cell, full metal construction, from €412) is a noticeable jump in stiffness and precision - beginner-to-advanced intermediate, with a hydraulic upgrade path. The Moza CRP2 (€460) brings 200kg load cell sensitivity with a cast aluminium body and a smooth hydraulic damper at a sharp price point. The Simagic P1000 (from €490) was developed with Team KRC race engineers and supports two optional upgrades: the P-HPR haptic motor (telemetry-based pedal vibration) and the P-HYS hydraulic brake conversion.

Premium - Heusinkveld Sprint, Simagic P2000, Conspit CPP LITE (€558–€684): This is where most serious sim racers land. The Heusinkveld Sprint (from €558) is the classic upgrade - 120kg load cell brake with around 65kg of actual force at the pedal plate, dual-stage brake (initial coil spring simulating pad-to-disc gap, then progressive rubber springs), and Heusinkveld's widely praised SmartControl software for on-the-fly tuning. Add the Heusinkveld Sprint Clutch (€159) for H-pattern driving. The Simagic P2000 S200R(F) (from €684) brings a dual hydraulic pump system at a competitive price. The Conspit CPP LITE (from €619) is a strong newer option with a 10 MPa hydraulic brake and Conspit's M-DVF vibration feedback system.

High-end hydraulic - Heusinkveld Ultimate+ (from €1,198): Used in commercial simulators and by pro drivers for training. Hydraulic dampers on all three pedals (not just the brake) give the weight and progressive return you'd feel in a proper race car. Adjustable enough to simulate the pedal forces of real F1 and LMP cars. Pair with the Heusinkveld Ultimate+ Clutch (€376) for an H-pattern or dual-clutch setup. A factory connector cable also lets the Ultimate+ integrate with Simucube ActivePedal Tuner software - so you can run mixed setups under unified control. There's also a dedicated Heusinkveld Ultimate+ Add-on Throttle for Simucube ActivePedal (€477) for the cleanest hybrid build.

Active force feedback - Simucube ActivePedal(€1,724–€4,162): The cutting edge. Instead of springs and dampers, a linear motor actively generates pedal force - adjustable in software, with realistic effects like ABS pulsing, RPM vibration, traction loss, and G-force.

  • The Simucube ActivePedal Pro (€1,724) delivers up to 1100 N (110 kg) of force feedback.
  • The Simucube ActivePedal Ultimate (from €2,257) goes further - 1700 N / 170 kg in High Force mode (or 120 kg Medium), plus inverted mount support and adjustable pedal arms.
  • Pair either with the new Simucube Co-Pedal (Pro + Co-Pedal from €2,049; Ultimate + Co-Pedal from €2,808) for a matched-feel throttle, or go all-in with the Ultimate brake + Pro throttle bundle (€4,162) for the most adjustable pedal setup on the market.

Multiple profiles can be saved and auto-switched per car or sim - no mechanical adjustments needed. With virtually no wear parts, active pedals are built as a long-term investment.

Pedal count: Most sets are sold as 2-pedal (throttle + brake - fine for paddle-shift GT, Formula, prototype racing). Add a clutch (Heusinkveld Sprint Clutch €159, Heusinkveld Ultimate+ Clutch €376) if you drive H-pattern, do rolling starts, or want dual-clutch launches.

A note on accessories: Need a rest pedal for left-foot bracing (Heusinkveld Rest Pedal, €90), pedal plates, mounting adapters, or upgrade kits? Check our Pedals accessories collection.
