Front mount, bottom mount or side mount for the wheelbase?
Bottom mounting on the cockpit's wheel deck is the universal default and the stiffest solution. Front and side mounts free up knee room and look cleaner, but they are brand-specific - not every wheelbase supports every mount style (some bases, like the Simagic Alpha EVO series, do not work with generic front mount kits). Check the mount's compatibility list against your exact base before ordering.
What is the Simucube Link Hub and why is it needed?
The wireless data bridge of the Simucube ecosystem: wheels, ActivePedals and other Link devices talk to the PC through it - and a single hub runs them all, which is why it is sold separately rather than bundled with every device. Buy it once; combining an ActivePedal with a Simucube 3 wheelbase additionally needs the Teltonika Ethernet switch.
Will a wheelbase mount fit my cockpit?
On aluminium profile cockpits, almost always - mounts clamp into the T-slots, so the question is profile size rather than brand. Each mount lists its supported profiles and wheelbases; when in doubt, send us your cockpit and base model and we will confirm the combination.
What accessories does a new wheelbase actually need?
Honestly: a solid mounting solution, and often nothing else - most bases ship with their power supply, cables and controller.
