Freestanding is the gold standard with strong direct drive bases: the monitors sit on their own structure, so wheelbase vibrations never reach the screen. Cockpit-integrated mounts save floor space and move with the rig - the right call for compact rooms or motion systems, where the screens should travel with you.
Single monitor, triples or ultrawide?
Triples give true peripheral vision - you see the apex beside you, not just ahead - which is why they dominate serious rigs; the cost is GPU load and space. An ultrawide is the simpler middle ground with one cable and no bezels. A quality single works fine for starting out, and every one of these paths has a matching mount in this category.
Will these mounts hold my monitor size?
Mounts attach via the standard VESA pattern on the monitor's back, and each product page lists its supported size and weight range - large racing monitors and TVs included. If your display sits at the edge of a range, write to us with the exact model and we will confirm before you order.
How high and how far should the screen sit?
Eye level at the screen's horizon line, as close as focus allows - closer screens fill more of your field of view, which makes the sim's world scale correct. Good mounts adjust height, depth and angle precisely so you can match the in-game FOV setting to your physical geometry - the single cheapest realism upgrade there is.
Do monitor mounts work with any cockpit?
Freestanding stands work with any rig by definition - they only need floor space. Integrated mounts attach to aluminium profile cockpits; compatibility with your specific chassis and profile size is listed per product, and we verify unusual combinations on request.
