FAQs

Does the Sparco R100 fit sim racing cockpits?

Yes - the R100 is compact and lightweight, which is exactly why it became a sim racing favorite: it fits most cockpits without crowding the rig, mounted via standard side brackets. It is also compatible with the Sparco seat slider for fore-aft adjustment.

Can I use a harness with the R100?

Yes - the backrest has harness slots, so it works with a 4-point race harness for that strapped-in feel, or with a standard OE-style seat belt if you keep it simple.

Does the backrest recline?

Yes - the R100 has a smooth, high-quality recline mechanism. That matters on shared rigs (each driver finds their angle in seconds) and for switching between upright GT and laid-back formula positions.

Sparco R100 or REV QRT - which seat should I choose?

The R100 is the comfortable, reclinable choice for long sessions and shared rigs. The REV QRT is a fixed ultra-light racing shell (7.1 kg) with a much more locked-in feel - but note it is not recommended for drivers over 75 kg.

Do I need a seat slider?

Only if multiple drivers of different heights share the rig, or you switch between driving disciplines - the Sparco slider gives quick fore-aft adjustment without retooling the mounts. A single driver with a fixed setup can bolt the seat directly.
