The Simucube 3 platform, in its most accessible form

The Sport carries the complete Simucube 3 generation - re-engineered control algorithm, the innovative Link Quick Release and the new Tuner software - with a 15 Nm SPM motor and the lightest, most compact body of the lineup.

Simucube 3 Sport

  • 15 Nm of torque
  • Power and data through Quick Release
  • Front and bottom mounting
  • 3 years warranty
  • The most affordable Simucube wheelbase

More responsive than ever

Latency does not scale with price: the Simucube Link Hub polls device status tens of thousands of times per second on the Sport exactly as on the flagship models. Slides are caught the moment they start - and at 8.7 kg, this is also the lightest, most compact wheelbase of the Simucube 3 lineup.

Build quality that lasts a lifetime

Entry price, no entry-level compromises.

The Sport is built in the same Finnish industrial tradition as every Simucube: industrial-grade materials and components designed to last a lifetime - hardware you buy once.

Future proof performance

Sim racers can invest with confidence, knowing their wheelbase will stay ahead of the game for years to come, with a team of engineers supporting the hardware and software.

Built for muscle memory

Ideal for training muscle memory that allows you to become a more consistent racer. Where you will have the same high quality feedback on lap 1 and lap 200.

Cool & reliable operation

Runs cool, even after hours of continuous use.

Due to power efficiency of motor combined with a advanced re-designed algorithm, the wheelbase responds to changes in its environment and adjusts dynamically.

Smooth, silent operation

Simucube 3 runs whisper-quiet, leaving only pure feedback in your hands. We’ve found a way to get the most out of the motors and keep them silent.

Load video: Smucube 3 quick release locking

A quick release that won't budge

The Simucube Link Quick Release locks in with P3G polygon technology: self-centering, zero play, with torque spread across large contact surfaces. The Sport's 15 Nm flow through a connection engineered for far higher loads - wheel swaps take seconds and nothing ever works loose.

A quick release built for sim racing

LightBridge transfers power and data to the wheel with zero wearing parts - no slip rings, no cables, no batteries. Developed by Simucube exclusively for sim racing, and identical across Sport, Pro and Ultimate.

Everything the car feels, you feel

Telemetry-based effects are a platform feature, not a torque tier: the Sport renders road texture, ABS feedback and RPM with the same fidelity as the Pro. More information at your fingertips - and instinctive reactions on track.

Tune device settings mid race

The new Control Box comes in the Sport's box too: force feedback strength, effects and device settings adjust on the fly, without alt-tabbing out of the sim.

Simucube Link Hub - Made for sim racing

One Simucube Link Hub connects and protects the entire rig - shielding it from unexpected USB disconnections, power surges and grounding issues while linking every Simucube device together.

  • Occupies only one USB port
  • Gear protected from power surges
  • Frees up space for other USB devices

One Hub runs every Link device - Valo GT-23 and ActivePedal owners are already covered.

Collection of high-performance racing steering wheels for F1 simulation, featuring ergonomic designs and advanced control interfaces.

Wheels that just work - Simucube Link Wheels

The Simucube Link wheel ecosystem is live and growing: Simucube's own Savu Sport and Savu Pro are the natural pairing, the BavarianSimTec Delta Pro SC is available today, and more Link-compatible wheels from GSI, Ascher Racing, Delta Sim Tech, P1sim and SimCore are on the way. Simucube 2 Wireless and USB wheels work too - see the compatibility tab for details.

Savu Sport - the natural pairing

A full-metal GT wheel that matches the Sport's philosophy: the essentials, executed without compromise. Power flows through the attached Link Quick Release, data through the Hub - no battery, no cables.

What our customers say about this product?

FAQs

Is 15 Nm enough for sim racing?

For the vast majority of drivers, yes. 15 Nm peak sits well above the forces you sustain while driving, leaving headroom for telemetry effects like road texture, ABS feedback and RPM. The Sport runs the same SPM motor platform, 23-bit encoder and control algorithm as the more powerful Simucube 3 models - the torque ceiling is the only difference.

What is the difference between the Simucube 3 Sport and the Pro?

Torque and power supply: the Sport peaks at 15 Nm with a 280 W supply, the Pro at 25 Nm with 360 W (450 W peak). Everything else is shared - encoder, control algorithm, telemetry effects, Control Box, 3-year warranty. If you want maximum effect headroom, take the Pro; if value matters most, the Sport delivers the same character.

What is new in Simucube 3 compared to Simucube 2?

A new generation of direct-drive-optimized SPM motors, a completely re-engineered control algorithm, telemetry-based effects (road texture, ABS, RPM) and the Simucube Link ecosystem: data flows wirelessly through the Link Hub and compatible wheels are powered wirelessly through the Link Quick Release - no coil cable, no wheel battery. A Control Box for mid-race tuning is included with the wheelbase.

What do I need besides the wheelbase?

A steering wheel, the Simucube Link Hub and the Link Quick Release - the Hub and Quick Release are sold separately, and one Hub runs all Simucube Link devices. The wheelbase itself is PC only (Windows) and mounts front or bottom on any rigid cockpit.

Which steering wheels work with the Simucube 3 Sport?

Three groups: Simucube Link wheels (Savu Pro, Savu Sport, BavarianSimTec Delta Pro SC) with wireless power and data; Simucube 2 wireless wheels, which connect via the Link Hub; and any USB wheel, mounted on the Link Quick Release with power and data over a USB cable to the PC.

What are the mounting options?

You can front and bottom mount Simucube 3.

You can also use the current Simucube Mount.

Is there USB passthrough?

We have developed Simucube Lightbridge, which is an elegant design specifically for sim racing technology. It allows for wearless and contactless power and data transfer with the Simucube Link Quick Release with compatible wheels.

There is no USB passthrough. However, you may still use USB wheels as with Simucube 2.
