Proven top-tier quality cockpit

For over a decade, Sim-Lab cockpits have set the benchmark in sim racing. The P1X Ultimate continues that line with rigid aluminium profiles and precision-machined parts throughout - a zero-flex platform for the strongest direct drive wheelbases and loadcell pedals, made in Europe.

Community driven

The P1X Pro earned plenty of praise, but the community also critiqued some of its design choices - and Sim-Lab acted on that feedback. The P1X Ultimate runs on newly developed, fully slotted quad-slot profiles: four T-slots on each side mean accessories mount anywhere along the frame, without adapters or compromises.

Straight uprights are back

The iconic straight uprights return - a layout the community had been asking for since the angled P1X Pro. Beyond the clean, purposeful look, vertical uprights make aligning the wheel, dash or button box simpler and give more flexibility in positioning.

Easy to assemble

Everything Sim-Lab learned on the P1X Pro carries over: bespoke sandwich plates, pre-drilled holes and optimized brackets make the build precise and straightforward - a typical assembly takes 2-3 hours with one hex key, and the joints come out rock solid every time.

FAQs

What’s the difference between the P1X Ultimate and the P1X Pro?

The P1X Ultimate runs newly developed fully slotted quad-slot profiles - four T-slots on each side - so accessories mount anywhere along the frame without adapters. The straight uprights also return, making wheel, dash and button box alignment simpler. The zero-flex sandwich-plate construction carries over from the P1X Pro.

Is the P1X Ultimate compatible with all major wheelbases and pedals?

Yes. The front mount officially supports Simucube 2 and Simucube 3 (Sport, Pro and Ultimate), Simagic Alpha Mini and Ultimate, and VRS DirectForce Pro; the wheel deck covers Simagic Alpha EVO, Asetek, Fanatec, Moza and Thrustmaster bases - the Alpha EVO series mounts on the wheel deck, not the front mount. Pedals from Heusinkveld, Sim-Lab, Fanatec, Asetek and others bolt to the pedal deck. Full lists are in the Compatibility tab above.

How difficult is it to assemble the P1X Ultimate?

Assembly is straightforward: bespoke sandwich plates with pre-drilled holes align the structure, the whole build needs one hex key, and a typical assembly takes 2-3 hours. The step-by-step manual is linked in the Manual and Downloads tab.

Can I mount a monitor directly to the cockpit?

Yes - the Integrated Vario monitor mount bolts directly to the P1X Ultimate, or the Freestanding Vario monitor mount stands independently behind the rig and keeps monitor shake off the chassis. Neither is included with the cockpit.

Does the Sim-Lab P1X Ultimate come with a seat?

No - the seat is sold separately so you can choose one that fits your size and driving style; seat brackets and a slider are also separate. Bolts for seat mounting are included with the cockpit.
