What makes the P2000 hydraulic brake different?

It is built like a real race car brake: a main and an auxiliary hydraulic cylinder connected by braided steel lines, with a 200 kg load cell measuring your input. The fluid damping gives the pedal the progressive, dense resistance of a genuine brake system - something springs and elastomers can only approximate.

What is the difference between the S200RF and S200R?

Just the pedal count: S200RF is the 2-pedal set (throttle + brake), S200R is the 3-pedal set with the clutch. Both use the same hydraulic brake and load cell sensors on every pedal - pick the variant in the selector above.

Do I need a Simagic wheelbase to use the P2000?

No - the P2000 works as a standard USB game controller on any PC setup, regardless of wheelbase brand. If you do run a Simagic base, you can route the pedals through it so only a single cable goes to the PC. PC only (Windows).

Can the brake pedal feel be adjusted?

Extensively: damping, travel, spring force (four brake springs are included), position, linearity, required brake force and deadzones. The mechanical side adjusts on the pedal, the output side in the free SimPro Manager - configured once, working across all simulators.

Are hydraulic pedals worth it for competitive sim racing?
