Steering Wheels with USB Passthrough
Steering wheels ready for USB passthrough - the data cable plugs into the wheelbase instead of running to the PC, keeping the rig clean with no coiled cable across the desk. Supported wheelbase brands are listed on each product page.

A clean rig without giving up USB
USB passthrough solves the one drawback of USB wheels - the cable across the desk. Instead of running to the PC, the wheel's cable plugs into a port on the wheelbase itself, and the base forwards the data. The wheel keeps its full functionality and software; the rig loses the loose cable.
Two implementations
On wheelbases with a passthrough port - the Simagic Alpha EVO series among them - the coiled cable simply connects to the base. Ascher Racing's Artura USB wheels add a second route: a USB-C connector on the rear of the wheel designed for quick releases with internal USB passthrough, so with the right quick release the connection disappears entirely. BavarianSimTec wheels list passthrough support for several wheelbase brands directly in their compatibility tabs.
Check both sides
Passthrough is a pairing: the wheel must support it and the wheelbase must offer the port. Every product page here states the supported bases - and wheels that also run as classic USB direct to the PC remain fully usable on any setup, as covered in the universal USB wheels.
