High-end racing simulator setup with steering wheel and gear shifter on black frame in a dimly lit room.

Step into sim racing with the GT1 Evo

The GT1 Evo is the most accessible way into a true aluminium profile cockpit. The slot-profile design keeps the structure modular and flexible while providing more than enough rigidity for all popular force feedback wheels and pedals - and every component can be repositioned or expanded later.

Solid structure

The GT1 Evo profile design is engineered for maximum rigidity without becoming overly expensive - it uses less material yet keeps the chassis very sturdy. Racing without noticeable flex is a huge upgrade over wheel stands and desk setups, and for stronger direct drive bases the dedicated Front Mount EVO upgrade is available separately.

What our customers say about this product

FAQs

Can the GT1 Evo handle a direct drive wheelbase?

Yes - the wheel deck officially supports popular direct drive bases including Fanatec CSL DD, DD1 and DD2, Moza R5 up to R16/R21 and Simagic Alpha EVO Sport and Pro. For strong direct drive bases, the GT1 Evo Direct Drive mount (sold separately) reinforces the wheel mounting for high-torque use. The full wheelbase list is in the Compatibility tab above.

Is a monitor mount or a seat included with the GT1 Evo?

No - the GT1 Evo ships as the frame with wheel deck, pedal tray and side mount. Monitor mount, seat, seat brackets and seat slider are sold separately; bolts for seat mounting are included. For monitors, the Freestanding Vario monitor mount stands independently behind the rig and works with any cockpit.

How much space do I need for the GT1 Evo?

The chassis footprint is 1350 x 580 mm and the uprights are 660 mm tall. Plan additional depth for your seat position and, if used, a freestanding monitor stand - in a typical room, a floor area of roughly 2 x 1 m covers the complete setup comfortably.

Is the GT1 Evo easy to build?

Yes - all components come with schematic instructions available as a download, and the build needs only basic tools. A quality set of Allen keys is the main requirement, so no slips occur when tightening the bolts. The assembly manual is linked in the Manual and Downloads tab if you want to review the process before ordering.

Which pedals fit the GT1 Evo pedal tray?

The pedal tray has pre-drilled holes for all popular pedal sets - Sim-Lab XP1, Heusinkveld Sprint and Pro, Fanatec ClubSport V3 and CSL, Moza CRP and SR-P, Simagic P1000 (P2000 with the Simagic baseplate), Thrustmaster T-LCM and more - and its height and angle are adjustable. The full pedal list is in the Compatibility tab above.
