The Simucube 2 Pro is compatible with a wide range of sturdy, high-quality sim racing rigs, but it requires a rigid mounting solution due to its powerful 25Nm of torque.

Recommended sim rigs for Simucube 2 Pro

To handle the forces generated by the Simucube 2 Pro, a stiff aluminum profile or reinforced steel cockpit is recommended. Some of the most popular and widely used rigs that work well with the Simucube 2 Pro include:

1. ASR 4 / ASR 6 (Advanced SimRacing) – Premium-grade 8020 aluminum rigs that offer excellent stability.
2. Trak Racer TR160/TR80 – High-quality aluminum profile cockpits with multiple mounting options for the Simucube 2 series.
3. Sim-Lab P1X Pro – One of the most popular and rock-solid aluminum profile rigs, designed to handle high-torque direct drive wheels.
4. GT Omega PRIME – A more budget-friendly but still rigid 8020 cockpit that works well with direct drive wheels.
5. Next Level Racing F-GT Elite – A solid aluminum-profile rig that provides adjustable mounting for the Simucube 2 Pro.

Mounting Requirements

The Simucube 2 Pro is designed to be hard-mounted using M8 bolts. It does not come with a desk clamp, so it must be installed on a dedicated cockpit. The wheelbase has a universal front mounting pattern, and an optional front mounting bracket is available for rigs that don’t support direct mounting.

If you’re unsure whether your rig is strong enough, the general rule is that if the rig can handle 25Nm of torque without flexing, it should work well with the Simucube 2 Pro.
