FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What is the T.H.O.R.P. II hydraulic brake system, and how does it enhance the sim racing experience?

The T.H.O.R.P. II (Twin Hydraulic Opposing Rapid Pistons) system is Asetek SimSports' proprietary hydraulic brake cylinder designed to replicate the authentic feel of a race car brake system. It features an automotive-grade pressure sensor and offers a two-stage braking experience:

Soft Stage: Simulates the initial pedal travel, allowing for up to 40% longer travel and reaching the second stage with less force applied.

Hard Stage: Provides a firm pedal feel, akin to pressing against a wall, enabling precise control and seamless modulation for immersive trail braking.

How durable are the Asetek Invicta S-Series pedals under intensive use?

These pedals are engineered for exceptional durability. The brake pedal arm can withstand forces up to 200 kg, with a burst pressure of up to 700 kg.

They have undergone over 1,000,000 activation tests, exceeding race car durability standards, ensuring consistent performance under intense usage.

Can I adjust the pedal spacing and angle to suit my ergonomic preferences?

Yes, the S-Series pedals offer extensive adjustability. You can adjust the distance between the throttle and brake pedals by up to 400 mm, allowing for a fully customizable setup. Additionally, the pedal face plates can be moved along the x- and y-axis, and the pedal angles can be adjusted to suit your ergonomic preferences.

Are the Asetek Invicta S-Series pedals compatible with various racing simulators on PC?

The Asetek Invicta S-Series pedals are compatible with PC platforms running Windows 10 or 11. They work seamlessly with popular racing simulators such as Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, DiRT Rally series, F1 series, iRacing, Project Cars 2, rFactor 2, and many others that accept direct input devices.

How do I adjust the throttle pedal angle on the Invicta pedals for optimal comfort?

To adjust the throttle pedal angle:

Loosen the locking thumbnut on the pedal stop.

Push the pedal slightly forward and rotate the thumbscrew (clockwise to move the pedal forward, counter-clockwise to move it backward).

Once you've achieved your desired position, tighten the locking thumbnut.
