Warranty and legal guarantee

The manufacturer's warranty period for this product is shown below the Add to cart button. Some brands offer longer coverage - Simucube and Sim-Lab products come with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, and the Simucube ActivePedal Ultimate with 5 years.

If you buy as a consumer, you also have a minimum two-year legal guarantee from GPerformance as the seller. The manufacturer's warranty is additional and does not replace or limit your statutory rights.

If something goes wrong, contact us - we'll handle the claim for you, including any coordination with the manufacturer. You don't have to deal with anything yourself, and shipping cost is on us.

Product exchange within 14 days

Sometimes gear feels different on your rig than you expected - force feedback, pedal response, wheel ergonomics. That's fine. Within 14 days of delivery, you can request an exchange for a different product or variant. The product just needs to be in good condition, complete and returned in its original box - short testing on your rig is fine.

Exchanges are meant for genuine purchases, not for trying out products. If you're unsure what suits your setup or driving style, ask us before ordering - we're happy to help, and we want you racing on gear you're happy with. For business (B2B) purchases, please contact us first.

14-day right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer and change your mind, let us know within 14 days of receiving the product - no reason needed. You can use the Withdraw from contract link in the footer or email support@gperformance.eu.

Once you've notified us, you have another 14 days to send the product back. The direct cost of return shipping is covered by you. If the product is faulty or you received the wrong item, contact us first and we'll arrange a suitable return method.

Inspecting and returning the product

You can unpack and inspect the product just as you would in a store. Handle it with care and return it complete, with all accessories, cables and manuals. Keep the original box and protective materials, as they help protect the product during return shipping.

If you've handled or used the product beyond what's needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, you keep your right of withdrawal, but we may reduce the refund by the loss in value this caused.

The housing, including the grip inlays, is CNC milled from a solid block of 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum to ensure maximum torsional rigidity.

The Alpha grips, made from 60A anti-static silicone rubber, are engineered to enhance ergonomics and ensure a comfortable hold. Designed to provide a pleasant tactile experience, they adapt seamlessly to the natural hand position, minimizing fatigue during prolonged drives.

Multi-Link-Selector

The Multi-Link-Selector utilises the computing power of the Alpha to revolutionize controls like never before! Use the central encoder to select a mode and witness the magic of adaptive inputs, visualized by bright LEDs.

Instead of 3 inputs you get 8x2x2+1=33!

🟠 Push down and twist the Encoder (1) to switch between the 8 different modes

🟢 Twist the Encoder (1) to change the value of the currently selected mode

🔵 Rotate the thumb encoder (2) to change a second alternative value of the selected mode

Example: Select the mode VOL by pushing down and twisting the Encoder (1). Now you can change the overall volume by twisting the Encoder (1) and the in-game volume by rotating the thumb encoder (2).

All the inputs you'll ever need

The Alpha has precisely the perfect number of buttons, switches, and rotary encoders you need. Buttons, switches, and rotary encoders are strategically positioned to provide intuitive access to all functions without ever having to take your hands off the steering wheel.

It features two large thumb encoders on the left and right, providing precise detents for clear feedback with every turn. The two 7-way switches are optimally placed for thumb operation thanks to their tower arrangement. 12 high-quality RGB buttons, each with an activation force of 500gf, ensure perfect illumination without hotspots and optimal visual feedback with four LEDs per button.

Additionally, it boasts three rotary encoders with unique variable LED illuminated labeling and functionality. Through Adaptive-Beam-Tec and Multi-Link-Selector, they offer more functions than a dozen traditional rotary encoders, all in an entirely intuitive manner!

What is the difference between the Alpha Standard and Alpha Advanced?

Both have the two aluminium magnetic shifter paddles. The Advanced adds two butterfly shifters above them and a pair of full-magnetic contactless dual clutch paddles - six paddles in total, at 1,350 g versus 1,250 g for the Standard. Everything else, from the 6061 aluminium frame to the electronics, is identical.

Which wheelbases does the BavarianSimTec Alpha work with?

USB pass-through on VNM Simulation, Simagic, VRS and Asetek bases, classic USB to the PC on Simucube 2, Simucube 3 and Fanatec, and MOZA with the corresponding adapter. The wheel is PC only.

Does the Alpha work with SimHub?

Yes, fully - all 112 programmable LEDs (12 RGB buttons with 4 LEDs each, AdaptiveBeamTec front encoders and more) are SimHub compatible, and the wheel is DNR ready. The BavarianSimTec PitStopApp is a free download alongside.

How does the Alpha mount - is a hub included?

No hub or quick release is included. The backcase carries a 70 mm bolt pattern with three threaded holes; an optional mounting plate adds a full 70 mm and 50.8 mm pattern (each with three threaded and three through holes) for maximum quick release compatibility.

BavarianSimTec Alpha or Delta Pro - which one should I choose?

The Alpha is the more affordable 295 mm GT wheel without a display - 12 RGB buttons, 112 programmable LEDs and the choice of Standard or Advanced paddle sets. The Delta Pro steps up to the flagship GT platform with a 4.3-inch screen, 44 thumb-reachable inputs and a two-shell aluminium + carbon construction. Both share the 13-degree slope-cut grips and PC-only SimHub support.
