FAQs

Why is the REV QRT not recommended for drivers over 75 kg?

The REV QRT chases minimum weight - 7.1 kg - with a correspondingly tight, slim shell. Above roughly 75 kg the fit becomes restrictive rather than supportive. Heavier or broader drivers should choose the Sparco Grid Q instead, which offers the same shell concept in a roomier cut.

What does QRT mean?

QRT is Sparco's proprietary resin shell technology - the reason this seat weighs just 7.1 kg while staying rigid. The lining is self-extinguishing fabric with non-slip zones at the shoulders and seat that hold you in place under hard cornering.

How does the REV QRT mount to a sim rig?

Via M8 lateral fastenings with 290 mm spacing - the standard side-mount pattern, so it pairs with common side mount brackets on aluminium profile cockpits. The leg rest and seat cushion are divisible for fitting the seat precisely to the rig.

REV QRT or R100 - which one for my rig?

The REV QRT is the racing choice: an ultra-compact fixed shell that locks you in place - ideal for focused solo driving under 75 kg. The R100 reclines, fits a wider range of drivers and suits long relaxed sessions and shared rigs better.

Is the fabric durable for daily sim use?

Yes - it is a genuine motorsport seat with a self-extinguishing fabric lining built for race-car duty, which comfortably exceeds what a sim rig asks of it. The non-slip weave at the contact points is designed to resist exactly the repeated sliding in and out that daily use brings.
