Simucube Tuner pedal feel adjustment - brake pressure, pedal travel and pedal curve

Simucube ActivePedal is not a pedal. It’s every pedal.

Create any pedal you want. The ActivePedal Pro replaces springs and elastomers with an electric motor, so one pedal can become a GT brake, an F1 brake or a rally clutch - and switch between them with a single click. No tools, no re-springing. It's all powered by software.

Force feedback. In pedals.

Simucube brought force feedback to direct drive wheelbases - now it's under your feet. Where conventional pedals stay passive, the ActivePedal Pro closes the loop with simulator telemetry: feel the front wheels lock under braking, the rear breaking traction on throttle, and the pedal vibrating in sync with engine RPM.

  • ABS feedback
  • Traction control
  • Brake lockup
  • G-force effects
  • RPM feedback

Software powered

Over 50 adjustable parameters in Simucube Tuner - force, travel, curve shape, damping, effects - and regular free software updates that keep improving the pedal over time. Your hardware doesn't age. It gets better.

FAQs

What is an active pedal and how is it different from a loadcell pedal?

A loadcell pedal measures your input; an active pedal also pushes back. An electric motor replaces springs and elastomers, so travel, stiffness and the force curve are defined entirely in software - and telemetry flows into your foot as physical effects: ABS pulsing, traction control, brake lockup and RPM feedback.

ActivePedal Pro or ActivePedal Ultimate - what is the difference?

Force and headroom: the Pro delivers up to 110 kg (1100 N) with 74 mm of travel and a 3-year warranty; the Ultimate goes to 170 kg with 79 mm, an adjustable pedal arm for Formula and Le Mans positions and a 5-year warranty. The active technology and Tuner effects are the same - the Pro is the value entry into active pedals.

What else do I need to run the ActivePedal Pro?

One Simucube Link Hub - required and not included; additional pedals share the same hub. Combining the Pro with an ActivePedal Ultimate or a Simucube 3 wheelbase also requires the Teltonika Ethernet Switch. PC only (Windows).

Can the ActivePedal Pro be used as a throttle or clutch?

Yes - it is configured as a brake, throttle or clutch in Simucube Tuner, and the character changes with one click: a stiff loadcell-style brake, a light long-travel throttle or a clutch with a bite point, all on the same hardware.

Which games do the pedal effects work in?

As an input device it works in any PC racing title like a standard controller. The telemetry-based effects - ABS, traction control, brake lockup, RPM - run through Simucube Tuner's telemetry support for the major sims, with automatic profile switching per car and game and ready-made profiles from motorsport professionals.
