Compatibility

Designed for Simucube 3 wheelbases (Sport, Pro, Ultimate) - the wheelbase-side part comes pre-installed on every Simucube 3.

Works with:

  • nearly any steering wheel with a 70 mm hole pattern (threaded or non-threaded)
  • formula wheels with a 50.8 mm bolt pattern - via the Simucube 50.8 mm to 70 mm Adapter
  • Simucube Link wheels (e.g. Simucube Valo GT-23 and BavarianSimTec Delta Pro SC) - with full LightBridge wireless power & data transfer.

Good to know:

  • You need one Link Quick Release per steering wheel you want to swap - the wheel-side part stays mounted on the wheel.
  • Simucube 2 wheels: mechanical mounting works, but LightBridge wireless power & data is NOT supported - keep them connected via USB or the Simucube Link Hub.
  • Simucube-brand Simucube 3 wheels ship with a Link Quick Release included; most third-party Link wheels (e.g. BavarianSimTec Delta Pro SC) do not - check before ordering.

On Simucube Link compatible wheels, the Quick Release also carries power and data contactlessly - infrared light for data, induction for power. No pins to wear out, no slip rings, no batteries to charge, no coiled cable

Attach the wheel and race. And on wheels without Link electronics, it still works as a purely mechanical quick release.
