Asetek Forte Formula Pro with 4.3-inch RaceView LCD touch display

RaceView: 4.3-inch touch display

At the heart of the wheel sits a 4.3-inch LCD touch panel - 800 x 480 pixels at a 60 Hz refresh rate - running Asetek's RaceView display technology. RPM, gear, temperatures and fuel stay in view without lag, and the touch layer makes switching pages a tap.

The display is controlled through RaceHub and fully integrates SimHub: pick a predefined RaceHub dashboard, load your favorite SimHub dash, or mix both - RaceView can combine a SimHub dashboard with RaceHub's animations for even stronger visibility.

Asetek Forte Formula Pro glassfiber reinforced housing with forged carbon finish - detail

Track-grade glassfiber construction

The housing is glassfiber-reinforced with a forged carbon finish - lightweight and extremely rigid, so every bump, slip and curb from the wheelbase reaches your hands undamped. At 1160 g excluding handles, it keeps rotational inertia low even on high-torque direct drive bases.

The closed LMP-style handles included in this bundle are molded from injected rubber with ergonomics and grip in mind, recreating the tight, controlled hand position of a Le Mans prototype wheel.

Asetek Forte Formula Pro all-aluminium buttons, encoders and Kinky switches - front view

78 aluminium inputs, 47 RGB LEDs

The front carries 10 push buttons, 3 absolute rotary encoders, 6 thumb encoders, 2 seven-way Kinky switches and 2 rocker switches - all machined from aluminium and tested on automated systems for long-lasting performance. On the back sit two precision magnetic shifter paddles and the Quick Release.

Lighting covers 47 addressable RGB LEDs: a 15-LED RevLight strip, 6 FlagLights for race control warnings, and illuminated buttons, rotaries and switches - all configurable in RaceHub or SimHub.

Asetek Forte Formula Pro modular button box with interchangeable handles - side view

Modular: make it your own wheel

Handles, shifters and the colors of the rotary encoders and Kinky switches are all interchangeable - the same button box accepts Regular, XL, LMP and Suede handles, so the wheel can change character without being replaced.

Optional Asetek Clutch Paddles, Magnetic Input Paddles and the Carbon Paddles Kit extend the back of the wheel further - all officially compatible and available separately.

What our customers say about this product

FAQs

Which wheelbases does the Forte Formula Pro work with?

On Asetek wheelbases the wheel runs through the included Asetek Quick Release with no external cable. On third-party wheelbases it connects via a quick release with USB-C connection, or via Asetek's 3rd party wheelbase QR adapter if you want to keep the Asetek Quick Release experience. The wheel is PC only (Windows 10/11).

What exactly is included in this bundle?

The complete package: the Forte Formula Pro button box, the closed LMP handles and the Asetek Quick Release - plus the transparent button sticker sheet, carbon fiber tweezers and two spare black aluminium Kinky switches from the standard box. Unlike the bare wheel, which ships without any grips, this bundle is ready to mount and race.

Can I add clutch paddles later?

Yes - the Asetek Clutch Paddles, Magnetic Input Paddles and Carbon Paddles Kit are all officially compatible with the Forte Formula Pro and mount without replacing anything else.

What software does the display use?

RaceHub controls the display, LEDs and inputs, and SimHub is fully supported - through RaceView the two can even be combined, for example a SimHub dashboard with RaceHub's animations. RaceHub is a free download; the link is in the Manual and Downloads tab above.

What is the difference between the LMP handles and the Regular handles?

The LMP handles turn the wheel into a closed design with a 300 mm diameter - the feel of a Le Mans prototype wheel - molded from injected rubber with ergonomics and grip in mind. Regular (300 mm), XL (304 mm) and Suede (304 mm) handles are open formula style, and all handle types are interchangeable on the same button box.
